A Winter's Day By The Sea

It's cold today. Crispy cold with just a hint of sunshine. A perfect day for walking. We decided to take a walk along the beach in Penarth. It was bracing but invigorating. We finished with hot chocolate and a tray of chips at the end of Penarth pier :) The pier is so quaint but the Pavilion needs restoring. It would be wonderful to see it restored to its full glory.

  1. Those photo's look so inviting. I love Wales - used to live a little north of Carmarthen about 20 years ago. My Aunt lives right on the beach in Llanelli and I love it there. That Pier looks so quintessentially "English", although it's in Wales!!

  2. Hi Ali, You're right! I spent a couple of years in Hastings when I was little and the pier and beach do remind me of that (on a smaller scale). Wales is beautiful. I just wish the sun shone more!
